Compare customer success platforms
Gainsight, ChurnZero, Planhat and Vitally, paired off. Each page puts the two side by side on what their buyers paid, what the price is charged per, how long the rollout took, and which team each one is built for. Then it says which to pick, and when.
Quick answer
All four are quote-only. Vendr's observed medians are Gainsight $49,676, ChurnZero $44,625, Planhat $41,255 and Vitally $35,000 a year. Gainsight and ChurnZero charge per seat, Planhat per customer account, Vitally by tier plus seats. Gainsight is reported at 4 to 6 months to roll out and ChurnZero at 6 to 8 weeks; Planhat and Vitally are quoted per rollout. Exeechain publishes its prices, $0 to $2,999 a month, with no implementation fee. First scores in 15 minutes. Full accuracy in 24 hours.

Six head-to-heads
Each page reads its figures from the same sourced records as the pricing pages, with the date they were read. The verdict is the same one a buyer who read both pricing pages would reach.
Gainsight vs ChurnZero
Depth against time. Gainsight can model almost any operating rhythm, and buyers report paying for that in a rollout measured in months and in the admin who owns it afterwards.
Gainsight vs Vitally
Who does the work. Gainsight rewards a CS Ops function that builds scorecards, journeys and CTAs to fit the business.
Gainsight vs Planhat
The pricing unit decides it before the features do. Gainsight quotes are built on seats, so a twelve-person team costs more than a three-person team on the same book.
Planhat vs ChurnZero
Team size against book size. A ten-person CS team on 300 accounts is in Planhat's cheapest band and paying for 300 things; on ChurnZero it is paying for ten seats on whichever tier fits.
Planhat vs Vitally
Structure against speed. Planhat exists for books that a simpler model would flatten: multiple products, entities, shared ownership.
ChurnZero vs Vitally
What the CSM sees every day. ChurnZero surfaces alerts, scores and Plays; the CSM works a queue the rules produced.
Medians are Vendr's, from observed purchases: 372 for Gainsight, 101 for ChurnZero, 81 for Vitally, 35 for Planhat. Totango and Custify have pricing pages but no pair page yet, because the “vs” queries that include them have not shown up in Search Console.
How to read a pair page
A per-seat platform gets expensive as the CS team grows and stays cheap for a small team on a large book. A per-account platform does the opposite. Two vendors with the same median can cost a given company very different amounts, which is why every pair page prints the unit next to the number.
Rollout time is the second line to read. It is reported by buyers, not promised by vendors, and it is where the enterprise platforms earn their price: a six-month build is fine on a three-year contract with a CS Ops owner, and a problem when the renewal you are worried about is in ninety days.
Exeechain sits at the bottom of every pair page for a reason. It is the fit when the retention work needs to start this week on a book of 50 to 2,000 customers, at a published price, with no implementation fee. It is not the fit for an enterprise CS organisation that wants to model its own operating rhythm.
